FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS ABOUT:
What is AquaBoostAG30 Liquid?
AquaBoostAG30 is a Linear Anionic Polymer, (PAM) which can reduce excessive leaching of water through soils.
AquaBoostAG30 produces specific water management and performance enhancement characteristics for applications in
irrigated agriculture, horticulture, turf/sod and broad-acre markets.
How do I use AquaBoostAG30 Liquid?
AquaBoostAG30 Liquid can be used through all irrigation systems, simply inducted into the irrigation system in the same
way as liquid fertilizer. AquaBoostAG30 can also be tank mixed for Boom Spray application or hand watering applications eg; roadside trees.
How does AquaBoostAG30 work?
AquaBoostAG30 works by slowing down the infiltration rate of water through the soil profile. It promotes the “lateral
spread” of water and assists plant health and growth by maintaining water and nutrients in the root zone for longer.
AquaBoostAG30 is most active down to the 15” – 20” depth
Can AquaBoostAG30 liquid block my irrigation system?
No. AquaBoostAG30 Liquid is administered in extremely low mix ratios and has been specifically formulated so that even
if an error were made in the application rate, the product would not block dripper lines and or filters.
How long does AquaBoostAG30 Liquid last in the soil?
AquaBoostAG30 will last for approximately 8 – 10 weeks in the soil profile before another application is required.
Moisture probes can determine the frequency of further applications. AquaBoostAG30 is broken down by soil biology.
In soils with high microbial activity (dairy farms) re-apply after 6 weeks.
How much water can I expect to save when using AquaBoostAG30 Liquid?
Independent trials have proven that AquaBoostAG30 can reduce water consumption by a minimum of 25-30%.
Does AquaBoostAG30 contain nutrients?
No, AquaBoostAG30 doesn’t contain nutrients, but AquaBoostAG30 will hold any nutrients in the soil available in the root
zone for longer, thus reducing leaching and increasing fertilizer efficacy. The carbon content of AquaBoostAG30 reduces
volatilization of urea.
Can I use AquaBoostAG30 on edible crops?
Yes, there is no root uptake of AquaBoostAG30 into the plant so it can be used on all edible crops, such as vegetables,
citrus and grain crops.
Is AquaBoostAG30 a soil wetter?
No, AquaBoostAG30 is totally different technology to soil wetters. AquaBoostAG30NWS and AquaBoostAG30FB, both have
the ability to overcome the hydrophobic nature of soils, then slow the movement of water through the soil and promote
the lateral movement of water.
Does AquaBoostAG30 cause Phytotoxicity?
No, AquaBoostAG30 will not cause Phytotoxicity and thus can be used at any time and on any soil type.
